Francisco José Lacayo Parajón

Francisco José Lacayo Parajón is a sociologist, social psychologist, and educator specialising in culture and communication. He has worked extensively with UNESCO – as Vice-Minister of Education and Culture, Director of UNESCO for Science, Technology and Environment in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Director of UNESCO for Culture in Latin America and the Caribbean. As an independent consultant, his main contributions lie in the planning and evaluation of programs related to education, culture, Culture of Peace, and sustainable tourism.
