He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Berklee College of Music in Boston (United States) and of the Board of Fast Track, a technology alliance of which SGAE is a founding member. Eduardo Bautista, known as Teddy Bautista, was a prominent figure in the music scene of the 1960s and 70s. Founder of the group Los Canarios, he later worked as a director and producer. He also composed the soundtracks for more than forty films and set music to more than thirty plays. As a copyright manager, it is worth noting the profound transformation he brought about at the General Society of Authors and Publishers, whose Board of Directors he joined in 1983.
