Jean Lamore

Jean Lamore is a French historian specializing in the Hispanic Caribbean, with particular expertise in Cuba. He is Professor Emeritus at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne, where he founded the Center for Research on the Hispanic Caribbean (CARHISP). He also serves as a visiting professor at the University of Santiago de Cuba. He has authored numerous books and articles on the history of Cuba and Hispanic America, and is recognized in France as one of the leading specialists on José Martí. He is a member of the Honorary Committee of the Association for Cuban-French Cooperation.
