Marjorie Jiménez Castro

Marjorie Jiménez Castro is a Costa Rican academic and university administrator, currently serving as Vice-Rector for Social Action at the University of Costa Rica (UCR). She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Philology from UCR and has over two decades of experience as a university professor. Throughout her career, she has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Pacific Campus, Coordinator of Research, and Coordinator of Social Action. She is a co-founder of the Cátedra José Martí program and has participated extensively in national and international academic conferences and research initiatives.
