Marlene Vázquez Pérez

Marlene Vázquez Pérez is a Cuban researcher and essayist whose work focuses on literary studies and the intellectual legacy of José Martí. She holds a PhD in Literary Sciences from the University of Havana, where she also completed her degrees in Philology and Spanish Philology. She currently directs the Center for Martí Studies in Havana, a leading institution dedicated to researching and promoting Martí’s life and thought. Over the years, she has been an active participant in literary scholarship, presenting at numerous national and international conferences and teaching courses across Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the United States.
