Pablo Guayasamín

Pablo Guayasamín is an Ecuadorian cultural leader and the president (and executive head) of the Fundación Guayasamín, the institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of his father, the renowned painter Oswaldo Guayasamín. Under his leadership, the Foundation manages major cultural spaces in Quito, and works to promote art, human rights, and Latin American cultural identity globally. Pablo Guayasamín has represented the institution in international cultural initiatives and has publicly emphasized the continued relevance of his father’s artistic message of social justice and peace .
