Pedro Pablo Rodríguez López is a Cuban historian, senior researcher, and professor specializing in historical studies. He holds a PhD in Historical Sciences and has built an academic career focused particularly on Cuban history. He has been closely associated with the Center for Martí Studies, having led the making of the ‘Critical Edition of the Complete Works of José Martí’. He has played an active role in shaping cultural and academic institutions in Cuba, serving on the Advisory Council of the Ministry of Culture and the National Examining Board of Scientific Degrees. He has also contributed to major national commemorative efforts, including as a member of the advisory committee for the centenary of the War of Independence and the deaths of José Martí and Antonio Maceo.
